Welcome Parents!
We are so honored to have your student join us at the farm. Our mission is that they would grow in many ways while at the farm. We couple great mentors with a farm full of animals to help teach all kinds of life skills.
Animal Care: Hands on interaction with a variety of animals. Chickens, horses, cows, sheep, goats, bunnies, cats and dogs are always a highlight of the day. Students learn responsibility by feeding, brushing, collecting eggs, leading and handling animals, along with fixing up their habitat.
Student Choice: Sports, biking, hiking, bon fires, games, and crafts.
Bible Lesson: Interactive and creative lessons that use farm animals and activities to understand Bible Truths.
Meal Preparations: Kids learn how to prepare, cook, and serve a wide variety of foods. Our goal is that they learn to try new things and become cooks for a lifetime.
Everyday life: Skills in how to build things, garden, care for animals, camping, water safety, and many more. In addition, we believe in helping students learn how to work as a team, have good manners, work out conflict, and live with integrity.
Activities: Kids get to try many different things at the Farm from harvesting honey and pressing apple cider to learning archery and trying out kayaking. The changing seasons on the farm offer something new all the time.
Safety: We know that your student’s safety is always at the top of your list, and we want to assure you that safety is at the top of ours as well. With the nature of being outside and enjoying hiking, sports, and being around farm animals, we know that kids can get banged up; but we work hard to keep them safe.
1. Safe Mentors–We interview and check into the background of every mentor that helps at the farm to make sure the leaders are the best for investing in kids’ lives.
2. Rule of 3–From transportation to activities on the farm, we require that there always be a group of at least 3 people including 1 adult at all times. We want to make sure there is accountability and safety in all our locations.
